Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Aldea, a voice companion app for older adults provided by AtaForge Inc. By using Aldea you agree to them.

1. The service

Aldea offers a warm, multilingual companion, everyday-life assistance, reminders, and check-ins, plus a narrow emergency reflex that can direct you to call local emergency services and notify family. It is a companion product for daily life.

2. Not a medical or emergency service

Aldea is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, triage, or give medical advice; for any health concern it redirects you to your own doctor. It is not a monitored emergency-response service. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number directly.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be an adult to hold an account. Sign-in is provided through Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.

4. Family features & subscriptions

Aldea is free for the older adult. Family members may add contacts and purchase premium features (for example, a larger family circle) through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by those stores under their terms. The older adult is never charged.

5. Acceptable use

• Use Aldea only for lawful, personal purposes.
• Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.
• Only add family contacts who have agreed to be contacted.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service (for example, sending your message to the AI provider to generate a reply). See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Availability

We work to keep Aldea available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be discontinued.

8. Disclaimers & liability

Aldea is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, AtaForge Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any reliance on the app in place of professional medical or emergency care. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Aldea and delete your account at any time via the Delete account page. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
