About Aldea
Last updated: 8 July 2026
Aldea is a warm, voice-first companion for older adults — someone to talk to, and a gentle hand with everyday life, in the person’s own language.
Why we built it
Loneliness in later life is real, and everyday technology is rarely designed for it. Aldea starts from one big, simple idea: a voice that is always there, speaks your language, and never rushes you. It helps with reminders and small daily tasks, checks in, and can reach family when it matters.
What Aldea is — and isn’t
- A companion for conversation and everyday help.
- Multilingual: English, French, German, and Italian.
- Free for the older adult; family can add premium features.
- Not a medical device. It does not diagnose or give medical advice — for any health concern it points you to your own doctor.
- Not an emergency service. It keeps only a narrow emergency reflex that can tell you to call your local emergency number and notify family.
Our principles
- Safety first. No health triage, no diagnosis, no guessing.
- Dignity. Large, simple, unhurried — designed for real use.
- Privacy. Collect little, sell nothing, delete on request.
- The elder never pays. Cost sits with family, never the user.
Who makes it
Aldea (a working name) is built by AtaForge Inc. We’re a small team and we read every message. Say hello at hello@ataforge.com.
